"Honor A Holistic Nurse" Award 2008 (Deadline May 2, 2008)

Do you know a nurse who practices the core values of holistic nursing? Nominate this nurse for the 2nd Annual KYANA Holistic Nurses Association "Honor A Holistic Nurse" Award. The award will be presented during the conference.

The award is based on the five core values from the American Holistic Nurses Association (AHNA) Standards of Holistic Nursing Practice: Guidelines for Caring and Healing and will be presented to one nurse who strives to incorporate these values into their nursing practice.

The AHNA Core Values include:
-Holistic Philosophy, Theories, and Ethics
-Holistic Education and Research
-Holistic Nurse Self Care
-Holistic Communication, Therapeutic Environment, and Cultural Diversity
-Holistic Caring Process
